Today is a historic day in Yellow Rebel history. Yours truly is now a writer/blogger for the Brooklyn Bodega. My first piece was a review of the new Snoop Dogg album Ego Trippin' (scroll down to check it out). Yeah I know I got the 2nd review, but who cares. I'm glad Brooklyn Bodega gave me a shot. The review was posted on Friday (unbeknownst to me), but I found out recently it was up--so please CHECK IT OUT!!!!
For those that don't know, the Brooklyn Bodega is the organization behind the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival in DUMBO, Brooklyn every summer. Since 2005, they've been holding it down with free outdoor Hip-Hop events and concerts. Last year they had Ghostface Killah as the headline act:
That was my second time seeing Ghostface at a concert (the first time was 2004 Hot 97's Summer Jam), but it was the first time I saw him do his own set. I definitely enjoyed the show and it's an honor to be blogging for the Bodega. Anyhow stayed tuned into Yellow Rebel, and definitely add Brooklyn Bodega to your blog roll.

Hey that's awesome! I'll definitely be coming to the city a lot more as the weather warms up, and a free concert is always a winner!
